Route 66 food and lodging guide update

Howdy again,

Here’s the latest on the progress of the new Route 66 food and lodging guide:

Currently, there are only a few things left to be completed. One is the cover for the guide.
A graphic designer based in California is still working on the final cover for this. From what I
understand, it is still a week or two away from being completed.

Also, the fundraising effort is going really slow. I have been posting the direct link to the
GoFundMe page for this campaign in more than a few Route 66 groups on Facebook, and also on Twitter.
Despite this, the fundraising effort isn’t going very well. I started that because the original
funding source backed out of the project, without any notice. There is still a long way to go.

The cost per copy is significantly higher for a smaller amount. Reaching the fundraising goal in the next two
to three weeks will be crucial, so please get the word out, and get involved. This project is only possible
by your contributions. I ask that you please help reach this goal, as fast as possible.
